“Thanks for the great three days of fishing! Everyone had a great time and I am sure that they will want to return next year. We have already started discussing a trip and I will probably be the organizer again.”

“I’m the Canadian you picked up when our car had alternator trouble outside of Page. I just want to thank you again and express my appreciation for your kindness not only in stopping and giving me a ride, but to take me to the best garage in town.
They immediately sent out a tow truck and by 4pm the car was in the shop and diagnosing the problem. The alternator was taken to a local repair shop and even though the following day was Sat. when the garage was shut down, yet another mechanic came in and did the repair work. By 11am we were on our way.
Thank you again Wendy and God bless you.
Trust you have a successful season.”

“I just returned from my last trip, 4 in the last year, with you guys. And I wanted to tell you this was the best of all. Sure the fishing was great as always and Skip always goes far beyond the usual guide to insure we have a wonderful time regardless of what the weather throws at us. But this time not only were we housed in far better accommodations, we had the delightful experience of being to the masterful cuisine of Marshall and Sandy. Wow! What an experience. It goes without saying that to happen upon such an exquisite menu in such a remote location is unbelievable. But if your restaurant was in relative proximity to Phoenix, you soon would have no time for fishing.
Congratulations on reaching the level of a world class fishing report. You now truly have it all.”

“I want to extend my appreciation for the great fishing trip you [Jeff English] provided last week. While you expertise in guiding yielded a great thee day experience and many fish, the total experience was enhanced by the entire group of employees in your tackle shop, your maid services, and your restaurant.
Any business venture can be superbly planned, financed, and created with the best business plan in the world, but without the energetic and customer service people to provide a pleasurable experience, the business will fail.
Your people were excellent! Thank you for your, and their commitment to me, the customer.”
My Very Best Regards,

“Thanks for a great, great 3 days. It’s a rare occurrence when the fishing, the food & the folks are of the same high repute. Throw in an equal dose of hospitality, too! In over 30 years of fly fishing the truly memorable trips can still be counted on both hands. Our stay at the Cliff Dwellers Lodge has taken its rightful place among the top ten. Have a great fall & winter, see you next spring.
My Best,
Dan Curd

“Ya’ll are awesome… My family was on the long route home from Las Vegas and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon… we saw your sign and the restaurant, so we decided to stop for a bite to eat… what a wonderful surprise… the waitress was very cheerful, she welcomed us as we entered (even though she was waiting on another table in the patio). She promptly brought us the menus, visited with my family and myself, got our drink orders out and kept checking on us while our order was cooking. The restaurant was very peaceful. When our order was brought out, another wonderful surprise… the food was very good. After several nice chats with the waitress (I’m sorry I cannot remember her name) she brought the check and we were on our way on the long road to Flagstaff. We got not even 200 feet from the lodge and restaurant and we (my family) decided to see if you had a room or two. We turned around and stopped in the gas station. Once again we were surprised that there were not one but 2 rooms available. The young lady was very helpful and got us a room very fast. She told us all the necessary [info] and we were at our rooms in no time. Myself and my husband were sitting out on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet in less than 10 min, and stayed out there until 11:30. It was awesome.
Then we were treated to one of the most comfortable beds, and very dark, and very quiet motels that we have ever stayed in. His parents said the same thing that next morning as we loaded up then went to the restaurant for breakfast, which to no surprise for us was once again AWESOME. Your morning staff was too. We cannot thank you and your staff enough for being helpful, courteous, in making our short but wonderful stay at your place. I am telling all of my friends and family if they are ever out your way to stop in for a meal and a room. Please continue the fantastic job and we are planning to come out your way for a short trip next summer… to get a dose of that great Cliff Dwellers peace.”

“Just wanted to let you know how impressed we were with your whole operation! We were there a few weeks ago and had a wonderful dinner. Unfortunately got rained out, so left the next morning. Glad to get out back there last Sunday and Monday. Again, very good dinner, both nights! Compliments to Chef Marni and Chef Jason. Their food would be much “better than usual” many places, and a very unexpected level of cuisine in Marble Canyon!! Your servers were very nice and knowledgeable too.
The boat we rented was perfect. The staff in the fly shop was also very nice and helpful. We look forward to coming back as soon as we can!

“Thank you for making our family vacation very special. You made us feel like family. You have assembled a top notch staff that strives to reach your high expectations. Your management strengths would allow you to run an operation 10 times the size of Cliff Dwellers, but you keep a very intimate atmosphere that will being us back in the future.”
Thanks for a great visit!

“I was just looking at my pictures from Lees Ferry and just had to drop you a link (yuk, yuk). We just had a wonderful stay at your lodge. Your staff was outstanding, and the food was good. I didn’t catch the big one there, but the fishing at the walk-in area was very good. I forget the name of the guy in the fly shop though I really enjoyed him. He was extremely helpful and very well versed in how to fish the river. Basically I wish I was still there. We have never been anywhere so beautiful. I hope Lees Ferry stays beautiful forever.”

“I am from Belgium and I stayed over one night in your place last summer with my fiancée. And I must congratulate you again for the exceptional good meal we had in your restaurant. I have eaten better than in a French restaurant! No kiddin’ I did congratulate your chef too as I recall.
And I have a constant good memory of your kind service and it really was a great surprise to find that in the middle of the desert! I tell all my friends about it. And I will surely return some day…”

"Wendy: What a great time our group had at Cliff Dwellers Lodge. The accommodations, food, and fishing were all outstanding! For being out in the middle of nowhere, you all made us feel like we were at the Ritz. Honestly, I would say it was even better. As I mentioned to you, it’s people that make the difference. You, Jeff, and the entire staff certainly made this a successful program.
I certainly appreciate all the work and effort you put into this event. You love what you do and it certainly shows. Again, thanks so much for making the Cooper Bussmann/GE Supply event a huge success!”
